The production process relies on the ingnuity of the craftsman to select, filter, mould, shape, dry, and fire the clay with multi-level glazes, so combining the skills of construction, design, imagery and clay firing into one artifact. The unique brilliance of the colors, such as the amber and jadeite greens and the golden reds, have been appreciated increasingly with each passing generation.
